Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Sift the flour, cornflour, and salt together.
Add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture and mix until a soft dough forms.
Press the dough into a 20cm square baking tin.
Prick the surface with a fork and bake at 160°C for 30 minutes.
Cut into squares while still warm and let cool in the tin.
